Tulip analysis is defined as the analysis of a list of diagrammatic turns. For example, an 8 bin tulip analysis means the analysis of this sort of categorisation: one bin for a turn of less than 22.5 degree, one for 22.5 degree to 67.5 degree, one for 67.5 degree to 112.5 degree and so on. An 1024 bin tulip analysis approximates standard angular analysis in DepthMap.
