Abstract

Disconnected workflow or fragmentation is a challenge in the construction industry. Supply chains have been a complicated issue since the beginning of time, in all types of situations, from the battlefield to the project site. Now builders, developers, manufacturers, architects, and contractors are dealing with that reality “In technology, over decades of management, there is a great deal of information and stakeholders have learned to use data to make decisions on supply chain visibility and inventory, which means it can be managed better”.

The typical and main issue of the supply chains is sharing dependable, reliable, trusting information. Various stakeholders along supply chain & fragmented information sharing for the main missing link of INFORMATION SHARING & COLLABORATION, no viable and definite transparent & trust mechanism does not exist though innumerable software systems are there in the market.

What is missing is TRUST, to have that ‘THE TRUST’ among parties, BLOCKCHAIN based supply processes among the parties is the way to go including Dependable & trusted information flow and Assurance of the specified, agreed materials & processes
