Craftmanship can be applied to a range of design related processes where by there is a need to produce or give birth to an idea in the real world. Craftmanship is necessary in Arts, Design and Architecture. An architect can for instance hire a model maker to develop a fully detailed model of his or her design. The portray of the idea relies on the skills of the craftsman and the quality of his or her craftmanship. The design itself is the architect's yet the production and full realization of the project relies in totality on a varied set of crafmanships that introduce different professions and different craftsmen. For example the model maker, the tile designer, the furniture designer, the welder, the builder, and more recently the coder. Very often a craftmanship requires a feedback loop between making and designing. Consequently a craftsman is required to use their creative capacities to reproduce an idea or a set of ideas that together formulate a project. (one might find internal and external links.)
